Church Werx Gets It's Beginning

It is important to examine how God chose to introduce himself to the world through the written word.

Within the first few sentences, God is immediately introduces as an artist, with the power to create.

From Genesis 1:
"In the beginning of God's creating the skies and the earth, when the earth had been shapeless and formless, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and God's spirit was hovering on the face of the water ... God said, 'Let there be light.'"

"[W]hen the earth had been shapeless and formless", to me, this is clearly saying the earth was already "here", it was just shapeless and formless. No argument from the scientific community that "in the beginning" the earth was "shapeless and formless".

This is the direction Church Werx will be taking for a while, studying the Bible while practicing in the ancient art of, philology.
